Bemused

Greetings to my fellow internet savvy bloggers, how goes? Wow! Really, that's great!! Just thought I'd throw that out there, because seriously how many times a day do we all feel like we just kinda blend into the background and go unnoticed. Well, I know that you're out there!!

But today I was kinda glad that I was able to just watch the things that were going on without really worrying about whether or not people noticed. While I was waiting in line to get my usual Tim Horton's in the morning (I absolutely do not function without it) I saw what had to be one of the sweetest things ever. An elderly couple had walked by heading towards the tables to enjoy their coffees, the husband pulled out the chair for his wife, gave her a sweet little kiss and a pat on the bum. It was totally adorable. It didn't hurt that I had my own little soundtrack going with Jack Johnson either, everything in that moment just seemed to fit. I just remember thinking "Aww that's so cute!" I hope that when I'm their age I'm still that much in love... provided of course that my husband doesn't turn into a wrinkly, wheezing gas-bag. Just kidding!! By that time I'd probably be a wrinkly old nag anyway so we'd still be a perfect fit!!

Anyhoo...I'm dreading the trip to the passport office to renew my passport for my tentative trip in may. Who really wants to wait in those stupid lines so some bozo with a superiority complex behind a little desk can tell me that Whoops! I forgot to initial here or fill out section 5.2 regarding previous travels on my forms and that I have to do that then get in line again. Ugh!! who made up these rules anyway?! But it will definitely all be worth it when (or if, at this point) I'm laying on the beach in Cuba in my new bikini enjoying one of my many margaritas. Ahh good times, I so can't wait because I who deserves it more than me? *smiles*

In other news, it seems that my absolute faboulousness is seeping through the net. How so, you ask. Apparently, little Scotty is already hooked and talking puppies!! But shared custody of a wonderul little pup between Ottawa and Cali would be way too burdensome. The sad little coos and whines when it comes time to leave and then of course there would be the puppy, who's heart could stand it? Unfortunately, I can't turn off my faboulousness but I can at least try to tone it down for Scott's sake. *wink* But I promise nothing!!
