First, as you well know, things don’t always turn out the way that you want them to. But in these instances we have two options: the easy way and the hard way. The easy way is simple, and often the most chosen, we complain, make a fuss, all in all annoy everyone else around us until they feel the same way we do about the whole situation. Then there’s the hard way. With the hard way we grit our teeth and somehow make our way through the mess that has turned our life upside-down. There will be loss, there will be hurt but in the end we are stronger people, having shown that we maintained the courage of our convictions. That being said always choose the hard way and never compromise yourself for the sake of others because more often than not it’s not worth it.

Second, never be afraid to take chances because if you’re not willing to take the risk then you’re not ready to live the life you want. There are going to be a lot of things in life that present themselves and some might entail risky decisions while others will be clear. But know that it is always worth the risk even if things don’t turn out the way you hope, especially if you are able to learn from the outcome. If your future holds for you the choice to move for career, for love, or for what have you seriously consider it. Don’t put your life on hold. Remember you can always come back home, that’s the wonderful thing about home: it will always be there waiting for you.
